Important Notes for Visitors
- DeNA Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Company") shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or other troubles arising from the use of this Facility, except where such injury, loss, damage, or troubles are attributable to the Company's negligence. Furthermore, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Company, the Company shall not be liable for damages exceeding direct and actual damages incurred. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if separate provisions regarding the Company's liability are set forth in these Terms or other notices, such provisions shall take precedence.
- Visitors are responsible for their valuables. The Company is not responsible for any theft or loss.
- The specifications and contents of this Facility may change depending on the season.
- Certain contents of this Facility may be unavailable due to congestion or maintenance.
- Operating hours are subject to change with prior notice provided on the official website or through other channels.
- The Company may close all or part of the Facility or its contents at any time. The Company does not pay for travel or other costs if the Facility is unavailable.
- We do not accept ticket cancellations or refunds.
- During peak times, Visitors may be required to wait prior to entry.
- Re-entry to the Facility is not permitted.
- The interior of the Facility is dark and includes stairs. There are also areas with intense light stimulation and loud sounds, which may pose health and safety risks. Visitors may experience falls, collisions with other Visitors, or adverse effects from bright lights and loud sounds. Those who are pregnant or have disabilities should be especially careful. Children must be supervised at all times. If you experience any discomfort or incident, please inform the staff immediately. In some situations, staff may ask you to leave for safety reasons.
- For your safety, guests with any of the following conditions may not be admitted. Please inform staff if any of these apply to you:
- History of muscle spasms or loss of consciousness triggered by light stimulation (photosensitivity)
- Severe claustrophobia, fear of darkness, or acrophobia (fear of heights)
- Current heart palpitations or respiratory difficulties
- Any other concerns regarding physical ability or health status
- Some exhibits have mirrored floors. Visitors wearing skirts should be aware that reflections from the floor may reveal undergarments. Waist covers are available for loan near these exhibits.
- To protect the mirrored flooring, guests wearing footwear that may cause damage (such as stiletto heels) are kindly requested to change into the slippers provided by the facility. We appreciate your cooperation
- Children of elementary school age or younger must be accompanied by a guardian aged 18 or older.
- Entry with wheelchairs is permitted. Handle-type electric wheelchairs (mobility scooters) are not permitted.
- Visitors shall follow any instructions given by staff within this Facility. Those who fail to comply may be asked to leave.
For Visitors with Disabilities
- Visitors using wheelchairs or stretchers can enter by elevator. (Entrance: 900mm; Interior (W×D): 1600mm × 1500mm)
- Stretchers are allowed if they fit the specified dimensions.
- If the stretcher is too large, you may enter by transferring to a wheelchair.
- To ensure safety for visitors, facilities, and exhibits, and to prevent accidents, visitors using handle-type electric wheelchairs (mobility scooters) must transfer to facility-provided wheelchairs before entering the facility or exhibit areas.
*The facility provides a limited number of wheelchairs. - Visitors with a combined weight (including wheelchair) of 250 kg or more may be restricted from viewing exhibits with mirrored floors.
Regarding Ticket Purchases
- Tickets are sold on a reservation basis (date and time specified) and may sell out.
- Same-day tickets are sold at the entrance counter only if they are not sold out.
- Resale of tickets for this Facility is strictly prohibited. The Company shall not be liable for any troubles arising from tickets obtained through unauthorized means.
- Dynamic pricing is applied to adult tickets and disability discount tickets.
- Entry shall be refused if tickets are found to have been resold through auctions or other means.
- All sales are final. Refunds and cancellations are not permitted once purchase is completed.
- Date and time changes are only permitted for tickets purchased through the official ticket website.
- Date and time changes are limited to three times.
- Changes may be made up to two hours before the scheduled entry time.
- To change your entry date and time, press the "Change Entry Date and Time" button on your QR ticket. Follow the on-screen instructions to select a new date and time. If there is a price difference, pay the additional amount during the process. Once payment is complete, the original ticket amount will be refunded.
- All prices include tax.
- Junior high school and high school students shall present their student ID at the entry gate for verification.
- Holders of disability certificates (Physical Disability Certificate, Rehabilitation Certificate ("Ai no Techo," "Midori no Techo"), Mental Disability Certificate, Atomic Bomb Survivor's Certificate, or War-Wounded or Sick Persons' Certificate) and up to one companion may purchase tickets at the disability discount rate. (There is no discount for infant tickets; however, if an infant holds a disability certificate, up to one companion may purchase a disability discount ticket.) Certificates will be verified at the entry gate; companions must enter the venue together at the same time as the certificate holder.
- The disability certificate app Mirairo ID can be used instead of a paper certificate.
- Children of elementary school age or younger must be accompanied by a guardian aged 18 or older.
- Children aged 3 or younger are admitted free of charge.
Regarding Personal Belongings
- The following items are prohibited from being brought into the Facility:
*Free lockers and a stroller/large baggage storage area (hereinafter referred to as "Lockers, etc.") are available within the Facility. Please store items that are not permitted inside, but can be accommodated, in the Lockers, etc. Review each facility’s terms and notices for information on accepted items and use guidelines. - Alcoholic beverages
- Beverages without lids (other than plastic bottles and water bottles)
- Large baggage or items exceeding 50 cm in length (suitcases, umbrellas, monopods, tripods, etc.) *Please use the stroller/large baggage storage area
- Strollers (please use the stroller/large baggage storage area)
- Hazardous, odorous, or perishable items (e.g., fresh flowers)
- Living creatures and pets (excluding service animals)
- Other items deemed dangerous by staff
- Items that cannot be stored in the lockers or stroller/large baggage storage area cannot be stored separately.
- Wearing items that may disturb other Visitors, such as light-up shoes, light-up bracelets, or glow sticks, is not permitted.
Regarding Photography and Recording
- Photography and video recording are permitted; however, the following are prohibited:
- Flash photography
- Use of photography accessories such as monopods, tripods, or excessively long selfie sticks
- Live streaming
- Commercial photography or media coverage without prior consent
- Other actions that may disturb surrounding Visitors
- Please note that media coverage and photography may occur without prior notice. If you do not consent to being photographed or recorded for any use, inform a staff member.
Prohibited Activities
- Please be aware that media coverage and photography may be conducted
- Eating, drinking, and smoking inside the Facility
- Entry by persons who are heavily intoxicated or who exhibit poor manners
- Bringing pets or living creatures (excluding service animals)
- Bringing hazardous materials or items deemed dangerous by this Facility
- Live streaming, commercial photography, or media coverage without prior consent
- Actions that disturb other Visitors
- Failure to follow staff instructions within this Facility
- Actions that violate the Facility's terms and conditions
- If, after entering this Facility, you engage in any prohibited activities or the Company determines that you are likely to do so, you may be asked to leave. In such cases, refunds for tickets will not be issued, nor will compensation for any travel expenses be provided.
AI Beacon
- At this facility, in order to provide better services and improve Visitor satisfaction, Adinte Co., Ltd. (head office: 7F, CUBE Nishi-Karasuma, 347-1 Shijo-cho, Shinmachi-dori Shijo-sagaru, Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture; Representative Director: Shinji Sogo; hereinafter "Adinte") collects and analyzes certain device information ※1) from Visitors' smartphones, as well as location data, through "AIBeacon," a service provided by Adinte. We use these results for marketing and other purposes at this facility.
- The information collected from Visitors' smartphones at this facility does not identify individual Visitors. (For details on how information is handled in the "AIBeacon" service, please refer to Adinte's Privacy Policy regarding its "AIBeacon" business.)
- If you do not wish to provide this information, please turn off Wi-Fi on your mobile device.
※1) The communication device identifier (MAC address) of a device with Wi-Fi enabled.
Other Information
- This Facility operates cashless. All ticket purchases, merchandise, food, and beverages must be paid for using cashless payment methods only. Cash is not accepted, with the exception of capsule toy machines in the shop.
